GPS Information

I had great fun using my GPS receiver during the holiday, and you can see the result on the maps pages.

Here are some few relevant links about GPS receivers

• My GPS receiver is a Garmin eTrex (the basic yellow model)
• I plot the tracks on scanned maps using the shareware software package GPS Utility
• If you need a cable to connect your GPS receiver to a PC (or Mac) you can buy it, or make it yourself using Larrys eplug.

When I started using GPS I studied some GPS sites on the web. Some of the better sites are
